Privacy notice
The short version
StudentLink helps you find work and track your career progress. To do that we store your account details and the information you add to your profile. We do not sell your data. You decide what employers see.
What we collect
Your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash) and account type. For students, your date of birth, so we can check you are at least 16 and apply extra protections if you are under 18. Later, the profile information and documents you choose to add.
Who can see it
Employers never see your date of birth. When you apply to an opportunity, that employer sees the profile sections you have made visible and the documents you attach. Your points, streaks and badges are never shown to employers.
If you are 16 or 17
Your profile cannot be made public, and you only see opportunities that employers have marked as suitable for under-18s and that we have checked.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored in the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Self-service export and deletion will be added to your settings.
